Optimal carries two styles of Zero Fibre Tubing, both used to protect fragile bare fibres when breaking out loose tube cables.  Two sizes are available to emulate corded or tight buffer constructions.

Optimal’s Cable and Pipe Protection Mesh is an extruded plastic mesh to protect cables and pipes underground.  The high strength plastic  mesh is supplied in roll form in lengths of 50 metres.

Optimal’s detectable burial tape is a polyethylene underground warning tape incorporating one or two stainless steel tracer wires for the marking and location of buried pipes and cables. The detectable tracer tape can be used in conjunction with cable avoidance tools to locate the position of non-metallic pipes and un-energised cables.
